How much does it cost to rent a property for Cowes Week?

Prices atart at around £30 per person per night. All prices quoted are based on maximum occupancy. Properties nearest to marinas and town centre tend to cost more than those that are further away.

How many nights is a Cowes Week booking?

Typically 8 nights, arriving on the Friday before Cowes Week and departing on Saturday the following week. This is not written in stone and you can book for more nights if required.

How near to the marina will I be?

Your accommodation is likely to be within a 10 minute walk or a short water taxi ride, although many properties are considerably closer, some being less than a 5 minute walk away from the marina. If you have any special requirements regarding the location of your property, please let us know when booking.

What type of accommodation can I expect?

The properties vary from small apartments to Victorian terraced town houses and cottages, to large detached houses. Many of the properties are family homes that are vacated for the duration of your stay, whilst others are holiday homes.

In what condition should I expect to find the property?

Property owners must ensure that their property, decoration and furnishings are in good condition, clean and tidy prior to arrival and that all appliances are in proper working order.

Are bed linen and towels provided or will I have to bring my own?

Linen and towels for use in the house will be provided for the vast majority of properties.

How much deposit do I pay and when is the balance due?

To secure your accommodation a payment equal to a minimum of 20% of the total rent is required. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival.

Do I have to pay a damage deposit?

Yes, and it will be refunded on condition that when the property is vacated it is left in a clean and tidy condition and is without breakages or damage.

What means of payment are acceptable?

Payment may be made by cheque, cash or bank transfer.

Do you only provide accommodation for events and regattas in Cowes?

Although we tend to specialise in accommodation for the major events and regattas, we do have some properties that are also available at other times of the year.
